The New York Child Learning Institute is proud to be a member of the Alliance for Scientific Autism Intervention (ASAI), a membership-based organization created to ensure the preservation, extension, and dissemination of excellence and effective science-based intervention services for individuals with autism. ASAI was founded in October 2017 by several leaders of organizations that operate from scientifically validated systems (cf. McClannahan & Krantz, 1993) to provide effective autism intervention services to those in need.
ASAI’s mission is to a) create standards of excellence and a mechanism by which programs can be evaluated against such standards b) provide a forum for discussion of effective intervention strategies and program-wide systems analysis for advancing effective science-based intervention services for individuals with autism, c) participate in the scientific community at large by conducting, presenting, and publishing peer-reviewed research that arises from the collective data base generated by ASAI, and d) provide a collective voice as a resource on legal or political matters relevant to the effective treatment of people with autism.
The New York Child Learning Institute is proud to be working closely with other leaders in the field of behavior analysis who have spent over 20 years implementing and enhancing critical system variables to better define effective autism intervention strategies and administrative systems that have repeatedly proven effective across programs for children, adolescents, and adults with autism, both nationally and internationally.
