Our Supporters

NEXT For Autism has been a supporter of the New York Child Learning Institute for over 10 years.  Recently, the New York Collaborates for Autism provided a grant to support NYCLI’s pilot program to enable young adults with autism to participate in job readiness activities.   As a result, NYCLI’s young adults are successfully participating in an apprenticeship program.  NYCLI is extremely grateful for their support and assistance in enabling children to thrive in our communities. - nextforautism.org

The Knights of York have been a strong supporter of the New York Child Learning Institute for over 19 years.  The Knights are devoted to contributing services and donations to lesser-known charities that show a need and demonstrate a true commitment to helping children.  They have also donated much needed office furniture and classroom equipment, and have upgraded a kitchen for NYCLI’s children.  We are forever grateful for their continued commitment to our school’s success. - knightsofyork.org

Michael Gordon Foundation has been an invaluable supporter of the New York Child Learning Institute.  For over 10 years, the Michael Gordon Foundation has been instrumental in the creation of two new classrooms for young children diagnosed with autism.  The Foundation has also been instrumental in purchasing equipment that enables us to engage in our research.  The New York Child Learning Institute continues to rely on the Michael Gordon Foundation’s generosity and support.

Create Hope Foundation's founders have chaired Black Tie fundraising affairs, golf outings, and cigar nights, as well as have organized Toys for Tots and Santa visits to local children’s hospitals. Their efforts spanned over twenty-years, and they successfully participated in raising thousands of dollars that were distributed to the New York Child Learning Institute. The Foundation’s focus is to send checks to smaller organizations to make an immediate impact when needs arise. NYCLI is a proud recipient of their generosity. - ourcreatehope.org

ABOUT US >

NYCLI was founded in 1994 as a state certified nonpublic preschool for children with autism. In 1995, educational services were extended to school-age children between the ages of five and eleven. In 2002, NYCLI was certified to serve the needs of learners up to age 21. The institute implements a science-based educational approach and is committed to providing the highest standard of education for its students.

Although it is an independent, nonpublic institution, NYCLI's preschool and school are accredited and certified by the New York City Department of Health and the New York State Education Department.
